BiografŪa William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare (n. 23 aprilie 1564- d. 23 aprilie 1616) a fost un dramaturg, poet ļi creator de sonete englez, care este considerat a fi cel mai mare scriitor al literaturii de limba englez„.

Ca dramaturg, a scris c‚teva dintre cele mai puternice tragedii ļi numeroase comedii. De asemenea, a scris 154 de sonete ļi numeroase poezii. Dintre acestea, unele sunt considerate drept cele mai str„lucitoare opere scrise vreodat„ Ón literatur„, datorit„ priceperii lui Shakespeare de a dep„ļi naraĢiunea ļi de a descrie cele mai intime ļi profunde aspecte ale naturii umane. Se crede c„ majoritatea operei a scris-o Óntre 1585 ļi 1613, deļi datele exacte ļi cronologia pieselor de teatru atribuite lui nu se cunosc cu precizie.

InfluenĢa exercitat„ de Shakespeare asupra vorbitorilor de limba englez„ din Óntreaga lume se reflect„ prin recunoaļterea imediat„ a unor citate din piesele lui Shakespeare, titlurile operelor bazate pe fraze din Shakespeare ļi numeroasele adapt„ri ale pieselor sale.
